Published Poetry

Here are some of my published poems. I didn't have time to type the rest...

The Guardian Angel

You get a feeling as though someone's watching you.

This someone guides you all the way through.

And when tears pour,

that someone makes you cry no more.

It's like you have a guardian angel by your side,

but it doesn't want you to see it; instead it tries to hide.

But it does a poor job because you know it's there;

having someone like that is special and rare.

It makes sure you're okay

and takes care of you each and every single day.

But when it's your time to go,

your angel will no longer follow.

Your guardian angel has done it's job.

So no tears, not a sob.

Now the angel has left to guide someone new,

and stay by their side until they go, too.

The angel will live on to guide,

and learn that it no longer needs to hide.

Leaves and Love

-As the leaves turn
-Hearts start to burn
-Leaves fall at dawn
-Love has withdrawn
-What was once full of life is dead
-But new life will come ahead
-What was once all together
-Fell apart instead of lasting forever
-Leaves will live until its end
-There will be another relationship with that special friend
-New leaves will come to its home
-And once again love will roam

Sweet Valentine Of Mine

Sweet Valentine of mine show me the way to your heart.
And if you show me the way I promise we'll never part.
Sweet Valentine of mine hold my hand.
I'll show my love, I'll make you understand.
Sweet Valentine of mine I'll give thee a locket of my hair.
And if you accept every strand, does that mean that you care?
Sweet Valentine of mine sent to me from above.
Show me all your devotion, show me all your love.
Sweet Valentine of mine so pure and true.
When I need you, will you be there all the way through?
Sweet Valentine of mine, will we always be?
And if I asked would you marry me?
Sweet Valentine of mine, do you think we'll last?
And do you think we can focus on the future and forget about the past?
Sleep tight and good night Sweet Valentine of mine.
Be rested for tomorrow I will ask more if that is fine...

My Friend Was Always By My Side

My friend was always by my side
He was there that day I cried
Then I finally understood when he gave me a hand to hold
Everything made sense even though no words were told
He didn't have to say anything, I could already see
I look into his eyes and I know he loves me
With his other hand he wiped my tears away
He kissed me then suddenly everything felt okay

The Moment

Loving the moment of a first kiss
Never would've thought I'd feel like this
One thing leads to another
Not only do I have a friend, I have a lover
Living the moment within your arms
Feeling your goodness and all of your charms
Never letting go, you hold me tight
You keep me safe throughout the night
Keeping the moment as a remembrance of our love
Feeling every moment that I've said above
Losing the moment means our love fell
I'm not the kind of girl to tell
But maybe we weren't meant to be
We lost the moment and we didn't see
Cherish the moment while it'll last
Because it may slip by too fast

Don't Judge

If you have to judge,
then don't judge by what you see.
If you have to judge,
then judge the real me.

A Friend

Tears come down my cheek
A sign showing I'm weak
I cry alone silently for no reason
The tears freeze ice cold; winter is the season
A snowflake drops into my hand
How I feel no one could understand
I walk on the slippery sidewalk
Unable to breathe, unable to talk
In the cold misty air I start to breathe again
No one by my side, I have not one friend
The fog of my breath is what I can see the most
I wonder around like a spirit, like a ghost
I notice something will always follow
I look and realize it is my own shadow
Tears stop and I have a smile that will never end
For I was never alone, I've always had a friend
